In this piece, I was still getting to grips with the transition from physical to digital art. I was still exploring all the things that Procreate could do and decided to continue working on portraits to fix bad habits from initially drawing in a fixed, stylised direction.
Initial Sketch:
After completing the sketch, I decided to explore colour and the different brushes that Procreate offers. I pushed to try different things rather than settling for my usual process, using references from other media for inspiration.
